Folder contains the following:

  • Envelope containing a black and white photo of Swinford Old Manor (mounted on card) and a small black and white image of a young Ellen Terry. The envelope features a handwritten note on front: 'Swineford (sic) Old Manor where I first met E.T 1888, Exactly as she looked then!'
  • Black and white image of Smallhythe (Ellen Terry's house from 1900-1928), undated.
  • Black and white image of Ellen Terry at Smallhythe, with her cat, undated.
  • Envelope containing a set of loose illustrations and images of Ellen Terry in a variety of roles, taken from a publication entitled Souvenir of Miss Ellen Terry. The envelope features a handwritten note on front: 'Ellen Terry in various roles at the Lyceum, these may be useful for costumes in historical and Shakespeare's plays?', undated.
  • Portrait of Terry as Ophelia, inscribed 1879.
