The document was written on parchment by the notary John Bigholme and it is bearing his authentification mark. It is written in a neat pre-secretary cursive hand. The first letter is slightly ornamented and the first words are written in modified bookhand.

Doubie preast in the lesser kirk of Glasgow and his successors in office of ane annual rent of four shillings Scots at two terms in the year out of a Tennement belonging to the said Thom. Robb and his spouse Lying in Glasgow as there bounded for the Laigh kirk of Glasgow Founded by the said Mr. Mitchaell Fleeming dated 13 May 1502'.
