The second College Register contains a record of College business including the elections of Fellows and scholars, copy correspondence, visitations and governing body decisions. Lincoln College's original coat of arms is attached to the inside front cover of the Register, which were ratified, confirmed and recorded in 1574 during a visitation of the Portcullis Pursuivant of the College of Arms to Oxford University.
