The Dundee Union Bank was established in 1809 in Dundee, Scotland. By 1832 it had £86,652 in circulation and profits of £6,850. In 1844 it amalgamated with Western Bank of Scotland .

This material was deposited by a chartered accountancy firm, of which one of the partners had been involved in the liquidation of Western Bank of Scotland Records with Economic History Department, Glasgow University, c1963.
