Scope and Content

Duino castle (Duino, Trieste, Italy). Prince Alexander thanks Morse for some poems he sent him and complains about the treatment of Rilke's work by the German publishing company Insel Verlag; he also mentions a project on Rilke by Morse. The Prince invites Morse to visit him at Duino castle and recalls the history of the building and its notable guests; he also reports of a recent meeting with the painter Dyalma Stultus.
