Scope and Content

Letter sent from Alsenstrasse, Berlin-Wannsee. Hausmann thanks Morse for the postcards from Italy. He complains about the conditions in blockaded Berlin, in particular the lack of light. Work on the Rilke handbook has been slow; he wonders if Morse would ask Pietro de Nicola to supply the Italian and French bibliography. Hausmann finishes with news of new Rilke publications being brought out by Insel-Verlag and Max Niehens Verlag.
