Papers of an Action Committee, set up by the University of Warwick student's union following the death to Kevin Gatley, who was killed during disturbances involving the National Front in Red Lion Square on June 15th 1974.

Administrative / Biographical History

During disturbances involving the National Front in Red Lion Square on June 15th 1974 a Warwick University student, Kevin Gately, was killed. Subsequently the student's union at Warwick set up an action committee in his name to inquire into the causes of his death and to continue the fight against fascism. The committee continued until the autumn of 1974 when it was decided to concentrate efforts within existing organisations.

Conditions Governing Access

Prior permission from Warwick University Students' Union required. Publications based on the deposit must first be submitted to the Students' Union.
