Scope and Content

This collection consists of the papers of the Goldney family. They show the history of the family, the social history of Bristol, the involvement of Gabriel Goldney with the Bristol Volunteer Infantry, their mercantile interests and the acquisition and development of their properties, particularly the Goldney garden in Clifton, Bristol. DM 1398 consists of 5 boxes, and DM 1466 of 1 box.
