Administrative / Biographical History

Waunarlwydd School, Waunarlwydd, Swansea, Glamorgan, opened as a British school in 1864, in a building in Swansea Road. A separate infants department was established in 1883. This merged with the junior school once again in 1967 to form a primary school. A new school building in Brithwen Road was opened in 1969.
