Administrative / Biographical History

An adaptation project of George Eliot's Middlemarch (1871) was begun in 1991 with David Snodin as director. He was later replaced by Anthony Page and the seven part mini-series was first broadcast on the BBC on 12-Jan-94, starring Juliet Aubry and Rufus Sewell.
