From Joseph Fisher to his wife Nancy describing his activities in her absence and encouraging her to stay as long as necessary. He also writes to his son saying ' remember thou hast been long in the School of adversity and now the Lord has been pleased to restore thee in some measure and as brought thee fit for the use of the means thou art now using' He writes to his wife 'my dear wife my friend and companion throughout all changes in this life I am sorry that thou reapest no benefit as yet from the journey' He also describes how his father after reading the contents of her letter' laughed much at Williams being almost to stand by himself'
