Notebook by Simon Griffith. Contents relate to his family and the Methodist Welsh Church he attended at Jewin Crescent including sermons and an elegy to Benjamin Lewis, one of the deacons. Also includes an extract from the marriage register of the collegiate and parish church of Manchester relating to the marriage of Simon Griffith and Elizabeth Williams in 1836.

Simon Griffith was born at Llanymawddwy, Merioneth, north Wales in 1809. He worked for the Bank of England in London and was a member of the Methodist Welsh Church at Jewin Crescent.
