The small number of papers at DDCV(2)/61 arrived in the Brynmor Jones Library in 1974 as part of the larger deposit of solicitors' papers from Crust Todd and Mills of Beverley. They comprise a lease of land that Jane Handley owned in Seaton, valuations of her land holdings in Seaton and Sigglesthorne, a copy of her will, a list of the legatees named in her will and correspondence of the solicitor, Henry John Shepherd, with the beneficiaries, who included cousins and other members of her family.
