Partly typewritten and partly autograph. Most of the material consists of twenty-four exercise books of autograph notes, mindmaps and drafts of children's stories. The exercise books are entitled as follows - 'Final mouse', 'Monkey', 'The Missing One A', 'The Missing One B', 'Cockroach', 'Garden Spider', 'Dragonfly', 'Crab', 'Red Admiral', 'Wrat', 'Yeti', 'Boa Constrictor', 'Donkey', 'Giraffe', 'Dove', 'Mosquito', 'Rhino and Fear', 'Snow Leopard', 'Pike', 'Crocodile', 'Rat' and 'Kangaroo'. An untitled exercise book contains lists of different creation stories, the majority of which are unpublished. Four loose drafts of creation stories entitled ‘Where is the Key to the Universe’, 'Treacle Tart', 'Spider' and 'The Outcast - How The Spider Got Into The House' are also included. Some of the exercise books also contain notes on other subjects. This material is undated and the date given is an approximation.
