Prospero Poets and Clarion Publishing

Partly typewritten, partly autograph letters and printed enclosures sent to Hughes by Simon Rae and Dr Trevor Weston of Prospero Poets, which is part of Clarion Publishing. The letters relate to the inclusion of the Ted Hughes poems, 'Football' and 'Comics' in the poetry series. Copies of 'The Blue Taps' by Matthew Sweeney, 'Painter and Poet' by U.A. Fanthorpe and 'Pen Pals' by Roger McGough published in pamphlet form by Clarion Publishing are also included.
