Scope and Content

Partly typewritten, partly autograph correspondence and printed enclosures relating to requests for permission to publish or cite Sylvia Plath material. Includes two contracts and a letter about the creation of an audio version of The Bell Jar by Harper Collins, requests forwarded by Faber and Faber, a press cutting from The Times Literary Supplement about access to Plath material and a letter to Ted Hughes from the editor of Thumbscrew about the possibility of creating a Sylvia Plath Special Issue. Requests to cite Sylvia Plath material together with copies of the articles in which the material is included sent to Hughes by Rev. Keith Trivasse and Susan Hileman are also included.
