Scope and Content

End part of letter missing. News of safe arrival of 'Daddy' at Tamatave; she expected to devote the evening to writing and then Uncle Mark asked her to take some press cuttings about Auntie Nelly (Mrs Taylor was serving her second imprisonment 14 Jul - 23 Aug) to the House of Commons 'as Lord Robert Cecil was going to ask a question'. Met Uncle Mark and Uncle Tom at the St. Margaret's entrance. The next morning she visited the Police Station where there were a great influx of arrested suffragettes following on Mrs Pankhurst's re-arrest the day before.
