LETTER: Hugh & Mary Hughes, Ty Mawr Farm, Holyhead to their son William Hughes, 26 Hampton St., Liverpool. They have recieved a letter from brother Richard regarding his sailings and work. They apologise for the delay in sending on money owed and enclosed post office order for 30/-. Hugh says he has let two house, one for £27 per year and the other for 20 yrs at £30 p.a., on condition a new brewery is built on the premises. The works in Holyhead [new break water] are getting on slowly. He mentions that there have been several robberies locally.
