LETTER: Hugh Hughes, Ty Mawr Mynydd, Holyhead to his son William Hughes, 9 Edmond Street, Liverpool. W. H. is coming home for Christmas. Last Friday a bull was killed for their use and maybe a goose will be killed also. Hugh has not been heard from and the writer wonders how he is. The Railway Company are extending their line, crossing the harbour through uncles James's house to Porth-y-Felin. He has heard nothing of the cash sent to Davenport to pay the taxes.
