Papers of Peter Tysoe

Scope and Content

Papers of Peter Tysoe relating to his work for the Crafts Council of Great Britain in 1965 and his Chairmanship of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen and the Federation of British Craft Societies.
The papers were delivered in 4 files, one entitled 'Crafts Council 1965'. The contents of another were papers about the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, and a large file contained papers about the Federation of British Craft Societies. The fourth file contained papers about the Federation, the Devon Guild, the British Crafts Centre and self-employment of craftsmen.
Papers have been re-arranged into 5 sections, dividing the contents of the mixed file between sections 2 and 3, and creating separate files on the British Crafts Centre and on self-employment of craftsmen.
