Sophia Churchill, Lady Walpole (1760-1797), was born on 27 October 1760, the youngest daughter of Colonel Charles Churchill of Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, and Maria, daughter of Robert Walpole, 1st Earl of Orford. She married Horatio Walpole, 2nd Earl of Orford (1752-1822), on 27 July 1781. She died in November 1797.
