Administrative / Biographical History

E M Gardner (d. 1959) was the driving force behind the inclusion of watermills in the remit of the Mills Section of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. Available to all readers by appointment at The Mills Archive, Reading. We are open Monday to Friday from 10am-3pm.
