George Rose letter

Scope and Content

Address: Old Palace Green. [To John Baker Holroyd, 1st Earl of Sheffield.] Covering letter accompanying a printed copy of a speech delivered by Rose in the House of Commons on 5 May 1814, in favour of the status quo with respect to Corn Laws. He states: 'I am for a full & fair protecting price to the grower'.
