Letter from Alfred Gissing to M.C. Richter. He writes: "Thank you for your letter of the 2nd May regarding my copy of Isabel Clarendon. It is in excellent condition, pages clean & undamaged and binding in good order... The book is inscribed To my mother & sisters, with kindest thoughts, and signed G.G. As there are many other replies to my advertisement, I shall be much obliged if you will send me your offer at an early date. I shall then be pleased to consider it."
