Admissions of burgesses are listed in J R Anderson (ed.), The Burgesses and Guild Brethren of Glasgow 1573-1846 (2 vols., Scottish Record Society, 1925, 1935) (admissions before 1613 are taken from the council minute books or the act books of the Dean of Guild Court).
