Lease (and counterpart) for 99 years wanting 2 days, for £3,500, royalty of 5 shillings for each wey of coal and culm which shall be wrought, raised and landed by (iii) from or out of premises firstly described or any part thereof and so in proportion and after that rate for all and every or any greater or less quantity than wey. Royalty of 5 shillings for each wey of coal and culm which shall be wrought, raised and landed by (iii) from or ; 33 out of premises secondly and thirdly described or any part thereof respectively and so in proportion and after that rate for all and every or any greater or less quantity than wey. Sum of 6 pence per wey for each wey of coal and culm which shall or may be worked, raised and landed by (iii) under or out of any other mines, beds or lands in neighbourhood of collieries hereby demised. 4 bags or sacks of coal weekly unto (i) so long as said coal and culm shall be wrought, raised and landed in, from or under said premises firstly described and demised or any part thereof, 24 Aug. 1858; (i) Starling Benson of Swansea, county of Glamorgan, esquire, at request and by direction of (ii) George Eaton of Walbrook Buildings, city of London, civil engineer, George Fentiman of Upper East Smithfield, parish of Saint Botolph, Aldgate, county of Middlesex, druggist and John Robins Vivian of Stonehouse, county of Devon, coal merchants, to (iii) Penclawdd Colliery Company Limited.; Portions of Penclawdd colliery; firstly, mines and veins or beds of coal and culm, coal and culm works, coal pits and coal levels of every kind, nature and quality whatsover which now are or can, shall or may be hereafter during term hereby granted, opened, found out or obtained by digging, boring, sinking, levelling or otherwise howsoever within or under all or any part or parts of tenements, lands and hereditaments called Aberkedy, Caeworth, Penyrheol and other lands and houses formerly in occupation of Rogers, Richard and Jenkins and others, parish of Llanrhidian, county of Glamorgan. Secondly, veins and seams of coal in and under cottage and garden with appurtenances called Cornelback and also in and under certain meadows and parcels of land called Kent Meadows, such meadows containing 3 acres, 1 rood and 7 perches more or less. And also in and under side of old dwellinghouse and garden adjoining thereto formerly in occupation of Thomas Starling Benson, Hart Logan and others or their undertenants. All which said hereditaments are situate at or near Penclawdd, parish of Llanrhidian. And also all veins and seams of coal which shall or may be found and discovered during continuance of this present demise under all other lands and grounds now or formerly property of William Eaton at or near Penclawydd (PENCLAWDD) including Penlan Farm. Thirdly, mines, veins, beds and seams of coal and culm, coal and culm works, coal pits and coal levels of every kind, nature or quality whatsoever which now are or can or may be hereafter opened, found out or obtained by digging, boring, sinking, levelling or otherwise within or under all or any part or parts of lands of (i) called Bevans Lands at or near Penclawydd (PENCLAWDD) parish of Llanrhidian
