Scope and Content

LETTER: J. Parry, 1 St. Martin's Place, Worcester to Captain [John Owen]. He was pleased to hear all is well and that he landed safely after the stormy weather. Nelly and Sarah are spending Christmas with him and are enjoying themselves. They went to the country with his mother and sister Nelly whilst he and Maggie were at business. They all went to a soiree which continued until 6 a.m. He jokes that he will be able to get any amount of fish as he expects to have a relation in the fish trade and that it is a race between Nelly and Sarah for this person.
