Scope and Content

LETTER: Robert Davies, Chronometer, Watchmaker and Optician, 6 Castle Street, Liverpool (written on headed paper) to Captain John Owen, Bridge Street, Llangefni. He met a nice old gentleman from Llangefni at his father's funeral who promised to convey his kind regards to Captain Owen. His father died from cholera, he was 76 and a very religious old man. He has not seen Mr. Duckett for a while. He has a customer for the chronometer but business is very slack. He fears he will have to apply for some rooms at the Hotel Brownlow Hill and asks Captain Owen if he'll give Mrs. D. lodgings for a week or two. He hopes Captain Owen will soon be better.
