LETTER: Henry D. Read, 33 Tavistock Terrace, Upper Holloway N. to his uncle Capt. John Owen, Barque Peri, St. Katharine's Dock, London, thanking him for his letter and enclosure. They are glad to know he is in London and expect a visit from him soon. Gives instructions on how to get there. His daughter, Mary Jane is now 11 years old and Willie is 12 months old. He has not forgotten his visits to his uncle on board the Charles Sprague and would like to renew the pleasure on board the Peri. Jane sends her best love. In a postscript he asks his uncle to be sure to be at the house for 1 o'clock dinner if he visits on Sunday.
