Correspondence Between Miss Maude Royden And Philippa Strachey And Other London Society for Women's Suffrage Officers

Scope and Content

These letters appear to have been taken from the files of General Correspondence [2LSW/E/2] in preparation for transfer to the Autograph Letter Collection.

Originally part of the files for the years 1911, 1912 and 1913, these letters bear the usual filing instructions and notes at the head, in red ink.

They have been kept in the transparent envelopes with the descriptive notes made ready for their transfer and listed here as a separate group.

If in the future there is time for descriptive notes to be made of the correspondence for those years covered by the letters, these should be restored to the groups from which they were taken.

All letters listed here have been brought together in one folder FL149.4. [These notes were written c.1970].
