Stanton St John is located approximately 10 miles north-east of Oxford, and lies on the Oxfordshire/ Buckinghamshire border.
These records were originally deposited with the Bodleian Library under shelfmark MSS.D.D.Par.Stanton St.John before being transferred to Oxfordshire Archives in the 1980s. Further accessions, 2756, 3643, and 3719, were deposited in 1988, May 1993 and November 1993 respectively.
