An address delivered in a meeting of Undeb Cymru Fydd at Rhosllannerchrugog, Denbighshire in August 1945 by Cyril O. Jones, entitled, Yr Iaith Gymraeg ym mywyd cyhoeddus Cymru (The Welsh Language in Public Life in Wales).

Administrative / Biographical History

Undeb Cymru Fydd (Wales to Be Union) was established in London and Liverpool, primarily as a cultural and literary organisation and had many branches in Wales. However, in the 1890's, a group led by David Lloyd George attempted to turn the society into an umbrella organisation for the nationalist movement which was demanding a separate political institution for Wales.
