DEPOSITION: John Jones of Holyhead, master of the ship 'Echo' in the hearing of William Brocklebank of Holyhead, mariner, accused of larceny. Stating that his cabin had been broken into and a pair of boots stolen. In the company of Enoch Williams, police officer, he found the boots on board the 'Experiment' of Chester. The boots were stolen in the night of Aug. 9 or morning of Aug. 10.
