EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: William Brocklebank now of Holyhead mariner, accused of stealing three pea jackets and a pair of flannel draws from the smack 'Ocean' of Cardigan. Accused by David Morgan, master of the said ship, and Thomas Rees, mate of the said ship. The prisoner admits taking the items on the 10th instant. Says where he put them and that he was tipsy and is sorry.
