Scope and Content

MS.Add.6955: Minutes of meetings held by the inclosure commissioners for Rampton, Cambridgeshire, 1839-1843, 36 folios. The minutes are signed by Alexander Watford and W.J. Purchas. On a flyleaf at the front of the volume: 'In Chancery between Robert Ivatt - Plaintiff Alexander Watford and others Defendants. This is the book marked C mentioned or referred to in the Affidavit of Alexander Watford sworn before me this twelfth day of March 1842 A. H. Lynch'. Fos 1, 25-8, and 34v-36 are blank.

MS.Add.6956: Minutes of meetings held by the inclosure commissioners for Rampton, Cambridgeshire, 1850-1853, 37 folios. The minutes are signed by Richard Harwood. There are signatures of (fo. 28v) Elliot Smith and (fo. 32v) Stephen Adcock. Fos 36v and 37 are blank. The minutes are bound with MS.Add.6957.

MS.Add.6957: Statement of account of the inclosure commissioners for Rampton, Cambridgeshire, 1851-1853. The statement is endorsed by (fos 4, 5) John Percy Baumgartner, 16 May 1851, Stephen Adcock being witness; and (fo. 7) Elliot Smith; (fo. 7v) A. G. Brimley. Fos 8v-16 are blank. The statement is bound with MS.Add.6956.

The Act for enclosing lands in the parish of Rampton, Cambridgeshire, received royal assent on 14 June 1839.
