MEMO: from the Accountants General of the Navy [at Whitehall] to Asst. Paymaster Dutton R.N.R., Marine Depot, L.N.W.R. re George A.

Wright a fireman aboard the 'Tara'. States that £12.15.0 was overpaid to Wright who says that he had deposited sufficient funds on board the 'Tara' to cover the overpayment, but that this was lost when the ship sank.

The Admiralty would like confirmation of this statement.
