Administrative / Biographical History
Thomas Reece Thomas was born in Llanboidy, Carmarthenshire, in c. 1796. He was a member of the Willy family of Lampeter Velfrey, Pembrokeshire. He practised as a surgeon in Narberth, Pembrokeshire, before moving to Lampeter Velfrey. He married Elizabeth Twyning (d. 1847). After her death, he married Fanny Margaret George, of Plas Crwn, Llanddewi Velfrey. They had a son, Tudor Vaughan Howell Thomas (1852-1906). Thomas Reece Thomas died in 1883; he had acted as administrator for his relatives who pre-deceased him.
