MS illustration in black, cut in half but the pieces mounted on the same piece of cardboard. Depicting McGonagall asleep in bed, with a speech bubble ‘oooozzzzzzzzz [...] […]oney’ The room itself is dirty and dilapidated, with a saucepan labelled ‘SHIT’ on the stove, holes in the windows and ceiling , some of which are leaking and one of which has a leg coming through it, and a bucket and a fishbone on the floor. MS annotations in blue ‘22’, circled, above the left section; ‘23’, circled, above the right section and a line down the middle of the cardboard to divide the images, labelled ‘SPLIT’ at the top. On the reverse, an MS annotation in blue ‘2871/24’.
