Scope and ContentTwo MS illustrations in black by Peter Sellers, of McGonagall and various prisoners. On separate pieces of paper but mounted on the same piece of cardboard. The left drawing shows McGonagall looking warily at his fellow prisoners, all of whom are comically drawn and a wearing the stereotypical ‘arrow’ prison uniform. The drawing on the right shows a large leg and foot and a stereotypical looking burglar, carrying a sack labelled ‘SWAG’. Both are also wearing the prison uniform. Signed ‘P. Sellers’ on a separate small piece of paper, taped to the top right of the second picture. MS annotations in blue on the cardboard ‘12’, circled, above the left picture; ‘13’, circled, above the right picture and a line down the middle to divide the images. On the reverse, an MS annotation in blue ‘2871/24’.
