MS illustrations to the poetry collection ‘Small dreams of a scorpion’, with an MS note on a separate leaf at the front, dated ‘Feb 1981’, stating that they are ordered according to their position in the published book, rather than by Milligan’s original placment. Also stresses that the file is ‘important’ and should not be thrown away, and notes the existence of photocopies. All leaves loose, with the exceptions of leaves 13 to 15 which are paperclipped together. The illustrations are untitled, but have MS pencil annotations to indicate eventual measurements in the published book. One very small MS leaf indicating measurements has come loose from the drawing it was attached to, and is now contained at the beginning of the sequence of drawings, after the note at the front. Some instances of MS foliation, circled, in the bottom right hand corner of leaves. Generally in black ink but one is in pencil and the final leaf has TS and newspaper cuttings stuck onto it to form part of the picture. The illustrations on leaves 7, 10, 21 and 25 are signed ‘Laura Milligan’ in the bottom right hand corner.
