Cutting from ‘The Life of David: As Reflected in His Psalms’ by Alexander Maclaren. A large picture in the centre of the paper of. MS annotations in black ink, crossing out the newspaper’s caption underneath the picture and writing instead ‘A whole crowd of Bloody Fools’. Other MS annotations in red ink ‘55’ at the bottom of the paper and an illegible number, crossed out, at the top of the paper. Overlaid with a leaf of tracing paper, originally taped but has since come loose, with MS annotations in red pencil and circled ‘79 P154’, and an illegible number crossed out. Straight and diagonal lines drawn across the top and bottom of the paper. MS annotations in blue pencil in the bottom right hand corner ‘3 ½ w’ and ‘70%’.
