Administrative / Biographical History

The Hydro Group was a pressure group within Plaid Cymru. It was established at the Hydro Hotel, Llandudno, on the fringes of Plaid Cymru's 1982 conference. The main aim of the group was to re-establish self-government for Wales, unqualified by any ideological dogma, as the main aim of Plaid Cymru. It produced a newsletter, Tonnau/Waves from 1984-1986.
