Eliza [Tabor] to her husband

Scope and Content

From Malvern to India. Mentions Ruskin meeting. 'He is a wise man even if one cannot follow all he says'. Still no luck with Marlborough governors. Thinks she will write to all, even without introduction. Would love to visit Darjeeling again, but no more 'parish work'. Refers to story in his letter, evidently against herself, and counters with one of their last day in hills, when she had to spend last few hours packing, though she would never have the opportunity to see India again.
