A Macmillan to Eliza [Tabor]

Scope and Content

To Nottingham. Sending a copy of her book, 'When I was a Little Girl'. Hopes she will like Mr Frohlich's illustrations. Feel he owes an apology for one drawing, which shows a child younger than she intended, but Mr Frohlich being Danish, misunderstood. There was no time to consult her about it. Encloses cheque and is sending by rail 6 copies for her friends. Sending one to John Binney, who will enjoy it 'though he never was a little girl'.
