Deeds relating to the Harries family of Heathfield, Letterston, Pembrokeshire, 1840-1914.

Sir John Erasmus Gwynne Alexander Philipps (1915-1948) was the son of Sir Henry Erasmus Edwards Philipps (1871-1938) of Picton Castle, Slebech, Pembrokeshire. John Hill Harries, of Priskilly and then Heathfield, Letterston, Pembrokeshire, was the High Sheriff of Pembrokeshire in 1805. His son, George Jordan Harries of Priskelly, was married to Susannah Caroline Skrine of Berkshire. They had a son, John Henry Harries of Heathfield (1840-1865). The link between Sir J. E. G. A. Philipps and the Harries family of Heathfield is not known.
