Scope and Content

Contains pencil sketches of details from the church architecture in Arles (1931), one of which, of Saint Tromphimes, has been done on a separate sheet stuck into the sketchbook; pencil and watercolour sketches of people, architectural features and traditional fabric designs from a visit to Sweden (1934); [English] landscapes in pencil, watercolour and crayon, one of countryside near Cocking, dated April 1936; and a still life of flowers, done in pencil.
