'The TWR Jaguar XJR-6 is the first ever sports racing car to be composed of varying thickness of a strong and light combination of carbon fibre and kevlar (a Dupont fibre, 10 times stronger than steel).' Designer: Tom Walkinshaw Racing. Design consultant: Tony Southgate. Winner of a British Design Award 1987 in Motor Industry Products.
