Autograph letter, signed, from Thomas Wright to William Euing. London, Nov. 12, 1856.
Thanking Euing for his hospitality in Glasgow and discussing two books by Wright sent to Euing: Early Christianity in Arabia and Cambridge University transactions. Also encloses a list of paintings offered for sale by a French acquaintance.
Tipped into front of Euing's signed presentation copy of: Thomas Wright, Early Christianity in Arabia (London: Bernard Quaritch, 1855).
Euing's presentation copy, signed by Wright, of Cambridge University transactions during the controversies of the 16th and 17th centuries, collected by James Heywood and Thomas Wright (2 vols, London, 1854) is shelved at BD15-c.13-14.
