Student notes on lectures on the subject of fevers and inflammatory fevers, 1812.

Administrative / Biographical History

Nothing is known about the creator of this book of lectures. Dr Robert Watt (1774-1821) was the compiler of "Bibliotheca Britannia" and President of the Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons 1814-1816. He was the founding President of the Glasgow Medical Society in 1814. He began lecturing from his house in Queen Street, Glasgow in 1811 on the Theory and Practice of Medicine.
