Topographical Collections of Henry Minn

Topographical collections of Henry Minn consisting of:  

• A photographic record, with annotations, of the streets and buildings of Oxford. The arrangement of the volumes is based on the old ward boundaries within the city walls
• Correspondence, notes, and an annotated and illustrated catalogue of the Oxford Millenary Exhibtion, 1912
• Notes on Cassington, Yarnton and Eynsham in Oxfordshire

Henry Minn (1870-1961) was an Oxford watch maker. He was also a devoted Oxford antiquary and was one of the most active members of the Committee of the Oxford Millenary Exhibition in 1912. From 1935 he was a member of the extra staff of Bodleian Library and catalogued topographical prints and drawings. During the latter part of his life he lived at The Old Manor in Cassington, Oxfordshire, and there wrote the history of the parish.

The collections were bequeathed to the Library by Henry Minn in 1961.
